Many Smiles

Sweetheart and I had the privilege to attend a Thanksgiving dinner for the people of Camden NJ...What a blessing to see the kids with so little have the biggest smiles...We were kinda overwhelmed with amount of people in the room when we 1st got there, but once we saw the smiles of the young and old, we knew we were in the right place!!!!

Sometimes, Thanksgiving is thought of as an after thought, with all the hussle and bussle of the Christmas Shopping season, but it's a holiday we need to stop and think about on a daily bases..I think, to be a good Christian, one needs to keep and "attitude of gratitude" all the time...

And Keep SMILING !!!!!!!

another adventure

Hello all,

I went on another adventure ..this time with my church family...8 of us went to MS for a work mission in Biloxi MS...We sent a week working on what ever was asked of us...We even got to sleep in the sanctuary..Don't worry, we were awake for the Wed nite service... All but one day was spent at "Pete's " house...He had 8 feet of water come in his house...His Great-grandfather buillt the house..He has been living in a FEMA trailer for past 2 years, and work started on his house about a year ago...He was very gratiful for our help...

The work down there is very much needed...Once you go down there you will see for yourself
